Have you ever thought how strange it is that Satan has managed to stay mad at God for the past 2000 years?

Doesn’t he get tired of always being angry, ruining lives and deceiving people?

You would think that he would eventually come to a point where he wanted something different for himself.

As humans, we are constantly growing, changing, maturing and learning. But yet since the beginning of time Satan has been the same.

Even though Satan isn’t a human, I would still think that he would eventually be able to move on from the anger he holds in his heart toward God. But he hasn’t!

For a while I’ve been a little confused on why Satan is how he is.

Then I figured it out!

In this blog I’ll examine the true reason of why I believe even after 2000 years Satan is still angry, deceitful, bitter and pure evil.

It all comes down to this one reason!

Without God, what do we have?

God gives us the ability to forgive one another even in the hardest times. Through him he has created the ability to love, to be gentle, peaceful, kind, etc. the bible speaks of these things as being the fruit of the spirit.

If we don’t have God within ourselves, how can we be blessed with those fruits?

Only he can give them to us because all good things come from God.

Without him, we are then left to our own fallen nature of sin.

With sin in our hearts, we don’t want to forgive. We don’t want others to be happy if they’ve hurt us. We say, do and think hateful things.

We only want an eye for an eye, just like Satan.

Since Satan is without God there is no way he can have traits of God because through God only we can be blessed with those traits.

That is why after 2,000 years Satan is still stealing, killing and destroying.

I think Satan is a good example of what we can become if we don’t have God.

It’s true when they say negativity spreads quicker than positivity. It’s so easy to become drawn into the toxicity of this world.

The Bible says that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, and this is the exact reason why we need him.

Even though at times it may seem like we can… in all actuality we can’t do anything without God.

Happy Good Friday!
