Every shackle every chain has to bow in Jesus name.
I don’t know where you called me,
But I know I won’t stay the same.

You helped me at my lowest,
You fixed me when I was broken.
How could the God of everything stop and even notice?

As I called upon your name,
Things began to change.
The new things came alive and the old things washed away.

The God of everything pricked my heart like a thorn.
He softened my edges, he healed my heart because it’s torn.
He controls things, like a magician with a hat.
My God is the one who knocks Satan on his back.

So, Let every shackle , every chain bow down in Jesus name.
The one who heals the broken,
The one who changed my ways.

The healer of the sick,
And the see’er to the blind.
The light in the darkness,
The God who’s all mine.

My God, the one who loves, after all I put him through.
Forever I’ll remember there is no me without you.

The inspiration for this poem comes from the beautiful power of God. He has transformed my life. There is no shackle or chain God can’t break.
